Objectives

Since the launch of the Caring Company Scheme five years ago, corporate partnership has been receiving greater and greater attention from the NGO sector. The certificate is designed to fit the needs of the NGO practitioners in starting new corporate partnership as well as ensuring its success. Experts from caring companies and related fields are invited to share with NGOs their practical knowledge and experiences with the following objectives:

  • To provide the up-to-date information on the changing world of corporate philanthropy
  • To help identify the opportunities and challenges involved in securing resources from the business sector
  • To explain how corporate works and what resources they can offer
  • To provide step-by-step guidance in planning effective corporate partnership

 

Target Participants

  • Officers, administrators and social workers in NGOs who need to plan, organize or co-coordinate events or activities with corporations and with limited hands-on experience.
  • Staff who perform fundraising duties.
  • Service supervisors with responsibility and hands-on experience in resources mobilization.

Certificates:

A Certificate issued by HKCSS Institute will be presented to participants who successfully complete the program by attending at least 7 out of the 9 sessions, including the presentation (session 9).

Scholarship Support
  • All HKCSS’s agency members are eligible for application of scholarship support. One quota for each agency member.
  • Scholarship is available for participant who enrolls the whole series and successfully completes the program by attending at least 7 of the 9 sessions.
  • The scholarship is $2,400 per person and will be reimbursed to the participant upon completion of the program.
