KM Forum for NGOs
20 November 2007 (Tuesday)

Building a Knowledge Sharing Community in the Social Welfare Sector:Application of Knowledge Management in NGOs today

Knowledge is the key asset of an organization, and also the driving force and the powerhouse for the future in sustaining organizational competitiveness and development. How knowledge can be created, stored, retrieved, shared and applied among the NGOs in the social welfare sector of Hong Kong is a perennial question.

This KM Seminar for NGOs 2007, co-organised by HKCSS & Knowledge Management Research Centre (KMRC) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, will provide networking and learning opportunities in the practical application of Knowledge Management. Guest speakers from the HKSAR Government - Department of Health, CLP Power, BGCA & FPAHK will share their thoughts and insights in their journey to KM. Prof. W.B. Lee, Director of the KMRC, will then conclude the event with an open forum revealing the current needs, challenges and solutions on knowledge sharing in the NGOs community.
