HKCSS Institute’s Professional Development Fund

HKCSS Institute’s Professional Development Fund was established in November 2009. It aims at encouraging small and medium-sized NGOs’ staff to have continuing learning, enhancing their professionalism and promoting their competencies.

Details of the Fund:

1. The Fund is applicable for HKCSS Institute’s specified activities. The maximum subsidy will be 50% of the training fee.
2. Applicant must be a non-social worker who is serving in a HKCSS member agency. (Social Workers may consider applying for “Social Work Training Fund”). Applicant from small and medium-sized HKCSS agency member (Categories 1-4 of HKCSS’s member fee) is prior to be considered.
3. In order to benefit more applicable NGO practitioners, applicant can apply for this fund no more than 2 times each year.
4. Recommendation from the applicant’s serving NGO is required.
