Objectives

The visit to Amoy Food Limited offers opportunity to NGOs to deepen the concept on food hygiene in commercial industry. By learning the production process of soy sauce, food hygiene requirements in handling foods, including filtration and sterilization, participant will have a better understanding on the importance of and the best way for food preservation.

Amoy Food Limited was found in Xiamen, Fujian Province as a milk and soy sauce producer in 1908 and then set up its business in Hong Kong in 1928. In 1993, it started producing quality frozen dim sum. In 2008, the company celebrated its centenary anniversary. So far, its business network is diversified all over the world for more than 46 countries.
