Making Small NGOs Good and Effective

With the generous sponsorship from Hysan Development Ltd., the course “Making Small NGOs Good and Effective” was successfully held on 2 November 2007.  Ms. Nora Yau, General Secretary of the Tsung Tsin Mission of Hong Kong Social Service Company Limited, came to give over 20 participants an overview of the social welfare industry.  Ms. Wendy Yung, the Company Secretary of Hysan Development gave us ideas as “what business the small NGOs are looking for” and Ms. Christine Kwan of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service introduced to us the WiseGiving Website which will be launched in late 2007.  This short but intensive course was a great sharing platform for small NGOs.  Courses of similar purpose will certainly be held again.
