Promotion
of Employment Opportunities for
People with Disabilities
In recent years, many multinational companies and human resource professionals have discovered the potential of people with disabilities in making significant contributions to corporations. To inspire more ideas of partnership between companies and rehabilitation NGOs, Hong Kong Joint Council for People with Disabilities and Hong Kong Council of Social Service, in collaboration with Social Welfare Department, organized a 2-day event to promote the employment of people with disabilities on July 25-26, 2006. Ms. Debra Perry, the ILO (International Labor Office) Senior Specialist in Vocational Rehabilitation, was invited our Keynote Speaker at our workshop forums.
