The table below gives a chronological account of the development of the Review and the Division¡¦s actions in relation to the Review.

Dec 19, 2000A sharing session was held by the Steering Committee for Consultancy Study on Review of Family Services. The session was held with the purpose of giving a chance for those who have not participated in focus groups and intensive case study to share their views with the Consultants.
Dec. 2000 to mid Jan, 2001The Division worked on the future modes of service delivery. Forum was held on Jan. 11, 2001 for division members to discuss a draft paper on the subject.
Jan 22, 2001The paper on The Future Development of Family Services - NGOs' Recommendations on the Family Needs and Service Delivery Modes was submitted to the Consultants (App.)The paper consists of the recommendations from NGOs on topics regarding family needs, priority for serving and the future service mode, etc.
Jan. to Feb, 2001The FLE agencies held meetings to discuss the future role of the FLE service. The agency members of the Committee on FLE further met with the Consultants on Feb.2, 2001 to share views on the subject.
Late Jan. to Feb, 2001As a follow up on the discussion about the future service modes, the Division examined the 2-tier system proposed by the Consultants. More details about the future service modes were discussed.
Feb 13, 20013rd meeting of Working Group for Consultancy Study on Review of Family Services took place. The draft of the Interim Report was studied.
Feb 15, 2001A Division forum was held. The NGO representatives reported on the major findings contained in the Interim Report. Agencies gave their feedback on the subjects and views raised by the Consultants in the Interim Report.In the forum, ideas about the ¡§future service delivery mode¡¨ and the future role of the FLE service were discussed.
Feb 20, 2001The Division submitted to the Consultants information about the definition on prevention.
Feb 21, 20011)The Steering Committee held her 4th meeting and the Interim Report was examined. Follow up actions included sharing session and setting up of task groups to work on specific subjects of concern, were worked out.2) The Division nominated workers to participate in the Task Group on Needs and Target Priorities and the Task Group on Assessment Tools and Outcome Indicators.In the Division forum held on Jan. 15, 2001, agencies were invited to nominate staff persons as NGO representatives. No nomination was received. After consulting the chairpersons of the Family Service Committee and the Committee on FLE as well as the Division Chairperson, several agencies were approached and the result of nomination was:TG on Needs and Target Priorities:
